14m dia Geodesic DOME

Recently we had the pleasure of working with designer Stuart Johnstone from Stretch Marquees and Fabric Structures again on one of his creations. This geodesic 14m dia DOME with a custom tower was erected in Melbourne for an exhibition and with the assistance of Show Tech our preferred riggers we were able to overcome any challenges on the day for a fantastic result.

Lycra was used for the skin of the dome and was easy to work with creating an eye catching look, this exhibit would have turned heads. This is a credit to Baeu Medina from Cre8 Exhibits and Events.

Lycra Tunnel

Lycra is still a popular option for an indoor event. Our 4m Tunnel is easy to install and and can be used as a feature on it’s own or with other products. We also have an outdoor skin in our Light Grey Bedouin fabric and with a little bit of imagination, lighting, branding etc you can create a spectacular atmosphere for any event. Ask about our new dry-hire option for this product!

Hyundai uncensored advert

Our 9m x 10m White (light grey) Freeform Tent took a boring, concrete site and transformed it into a stylish eye catching functional area for an event organised by Peter Tyers at George P Johnson. Check out our facebook page for the advert in which it features.

But it wasn't all about Bali - we still call Australia home.

During February Tropfest took place and we were delighted to be a part of this annual event. Our 7m x 7m White/Silver and 4m x 4m White/Silver Echidna's showcased on one side whilst in another area our new 8m x 9m Burnt Orange looked equally fantastic.

Club Med, Nusa Dua - BALI 2012

As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we were heading off
to Bali for a fantastic event set up.
4 Red and 4 Silver/White Marquees were shipped off to Bali and together with joining strips provided over 1000 sqm of marquee coverage.

With such a lightweight and easy to transport option the freeform tents provide an affordable solution for any site, be it remote Australia or international.

With a site unseen and unknown weather conditions we worked through all the challenges that arose. This was a credit to all our staff and a well organised team including our wonderful client Laura Richards from The Conference Business. The final result was a spectacular venue for our clients' conference and gala dinner evenings.

Wow, what a glorious month for weddings and parties we've had.

We've had the wonderful opportunity over the last month to be part of some very special weddings. Bedouin headed off to one of particular note in the beautiful township of Lorne, along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria for a spectacular wedding extravaganza.

Setting up a several White and Silver Freeform Tents, including our waterproof joining system. We where very excited to be part of such a wonderful celebration, providing cover for both the ceremony and such a fantastic party tent for the wedding guests. The entire magical event was organised by Nicole De Bono from Cookes Food, who was an extreme pleasure to work with.

This wedding was certainly one of a kind and we wish the happy couple all the best.

STOP PRESS, STOP PRESS - BEDOUIN OFF TO BALI

As this newsletter hits your inbox, Bedouin are about to head off to Bali to set up an event of great proportions - a conference at Club Med in Nusa Dua for over 700 attends!

Logistically a great challenge but no event is too difficult for Bedouin. Our White, Silver and Red Tents are being shipped over to provide both a stunning 20m wide x 8m tall stage and over 1000 sqm of marquee cover. We are certainly looking forward to the experience and to sharing photos with you in March. A whirlwind finish to 2011

What a hectic and amazing finish to 2011 we have had. From a few challenging Melbourne private events, with one site using 3 of our stunning brand new White/Silver Freeform Tents joined together to create one beautiful party area at a beautiful Toorak residence ..... Then back in Sydney for a range of corporate and private festive events and of course the Annual Lord Mayor's Picnic, part of the wonderful Sydney New Years Eve celebrations.

Along with a beautiful wedding at Whale Beach and some impressive private parties, we where lucky enough to be part of a stunning wedding ceremony held at Athol Hall and Function centre at the spectacular Bradleys head in Mosman.

This completed a very busy 2011 at Bedouin, and we are happy to say that 2012 has started off just as busy. We are looking forward to a fantastic and exciting year ahead.
