The Balmain Art and Craft Show is a fundraising event for Father John Therry School in Balmain. It provides valuable funds to enhance teaching and learning at the school.

Continuing our long standing relationship with this wonderful event this year we set up 6 Freeform Tents and our mini 4m x 4m Echidna Pod to create wet weather cover and shade in areas that were otherwise very difficult to cover.

Other amazing set ups over the last month have been in conjunction with our wet weather contingency service (available upon request to selected customers).

Lycra Sails hire made easier by Courier

Our dry hire service for inflatable lights has now been expanded to include a range of wonderful lycra sails. With a broad range in stock, and as with our inflatable products the streamlined dry hire process makes it even simpler to add some tasteful and dramatic event architecture to any event.

Manufactured out of heavy duty stretch lycra, they are light weight and very easy to install. The space fillers can be used as a real talking point for guests when used with light projection. Easily hung from the ceiling or walls they provide an intimate atmosphere in almost any space and can be used to provide privacy or hide unsightly structures or space.

October proved to be an extremely busy month for Bedouin

Using our White 8m x 9m Marquee along with Moroccan Themed Decor, this charity was in support of the ENIWE Childrens Fund

A Corporate Event utilising our 3m high Inflatable Seaweed with 3 Red Marquees joined together to give an impressive area in which to host large crowds.

The Australian Turf Club needed an area for the children?s activities. We created a 15m x 20m White/Silver Freeform Tent using 6m Red Joining Strips, and as you can see the tent looked awesome.

Using 4 of our fabulous White/Silver Freeform Tents we created a great concert area for the for the Breakfast at Bondi Beach Event

Snow and Country

It has been a busy few months for Bedouin and below are just a few of our events that we covered in August and September

Firstly we headed to Thredbo to the opening of the new Denman Hotel where our Inflatable Shell Stage was used to create a special igloo effect for the DJ during Aprés Ski drinks at the bar.

We have also recently added our NEW larer Inflatable 9m x 7m Shell Stage to our range.  It adds to the range of inflatable structures we have to hire and is a intelligently designed to provide a broad range of options for adding company logos and branding.

From the snow, we headed down to the Hunter Valley to Patinack Farm, where under the stars they had their Stallion Parade.

The Bedouin look was created using various lanterns, hanging from the joining strip, or placed on the tables. Squat and Chaise Ottomans were set around the Wooden Coffee Tables, with Cushions and Saddle Bags scattered throughout the marquee, creating what can be termed as a spectacular Moroccan Themed Event.

Blow Up The Office

Our Inflatables still continue to shine with our clients deciding to Blow Up The Office (BUTO) in Sydney and Melbourne. A great way to enhance any expo especially when seeking a new dimension to create an exciting display.

A cold autumn brings us straight into winter.

Although the weather is not always predictable we are still able to manage parties, and with Bedouin's help the show does go on.
Even though June has been pretty cold and wet, our clients are still enjoying themselves with birthdays, engagements and general get togethers. We have put up several Freeform Tents in order to keep the masses happy. Those that have chosen our special decor offer, ($500 free with a marquee booking) get a ouch of the Moroccan theme and must certainly feel the added warmth of the desert sun!

After the excitement of the Royal Wedding

... what better time to think about your own special day. As we settle down to the cooler months, perhaps it's not really the time to suggest weddings. But it really is all in the preparation. And what better way then to start thinking ahead of those glorious spring and summer days and where to hold the big day. Naturally you can't go past the beautiful harbour views. What better place to host a wedding and add a touch of magic than the Sydney Harbour foreshore or, indeed, Cockle Bay and Darling Harbour. Just imagine a Bedouin tent set up for the day on your own island with views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Clark Island is open to the public for private functions and would present a stunning backdrop for your photos.

If the water is not your thing, Sydney provides ideal garden locations such as Arthur McElhone Reserve, Elizabeth Bay and Blackburn Gardens in Double Bay to name a few. With the beautiful Hunter Valley within reach of Sydney why not think of the ever popular wineries as a fabulous venue.

Australian Grand Prix, Vineyards and Weddings

Well it's been a busy and eventful month for Bedouin since our last newsletter. Kick starting the month was the Australian Grand Prix, held yet again in Melbourne’s beautiful Albert Park. Vodafone were delighted to stand out from the crowd by using our vibrant Red 10m x 30m Freeform Tent as a pit stop area for their staff and the more illustrious team members of Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes. Luke Hannan of Wonder Events said "The Bedouin tent looked awesome at the Vodafone Vantage Point at F1".

We then headed for a slower pace of life, where we were able to provide some shade for Tyrrells Wines. Set in the beautiful and tranquil Hunter Valley Winery district, Bedouin set up a stunning White/Silver Freeform Tent which truly looked amazing amongst the backdrop of vines. Naturally, this particular Freeform tent would be popular for weddings and just looks superb, not only at a Winery but in any garden or parkland. Which brings us to one of the most beautiful of occasions - A wedding held in Sydney’s Upper North Shore organised by Stephanie Friedlander of Styled By Sting. Once again, our popular White Freeform Tents were used. A tricky area was beautifully presented under cover by joining two 10m x 15m freeform tents in modular fashion. As you can see the final effect was truly amazing, and really did have that WOW factor. Lord Mayor's Picnic - Sydney Botanical Gardens This is the 6th year in a row that we've been privileged enough to be involved in the Sydney Botanical Gardens 'Annual Lord Mayor's Picnic'. Bedouin provided an array of brightly coloured themed tents to house the performers, bands and activities which would entertain over 2000 disadvantaged children, their carers and parents for the day.
